I'm always keen to see what comes out of a collaboration between a designer and an artist. This season Dennis Basso let Ashley Longshore do the majority of the talking. The lines and cuts of the garments were clean and crisp, allowing the prints to be the main focal point.
According to Vogue Runway, Basso wants to design for "the mother and the daughter". Overall the pieces could work in either wardrobe. It perhaps wasn't the most exciting runway show of the season, but the blue prints have me dreaming of a beachside holiday, and that's enough to win me over.
